Dee Introduces...: Terry Pratchett (!!!)

  Yesssss!!!! Okay, enough (!!!)

There's nothing more to say about Terry Pratchett. I vouch that the readers (that will be you, you and YOU) know him more than I do, i.e. his current state of living, how many books he had written etc etc etc.

Thus, this may come to a surprise that I am selling those Discworld novels that I have. I bought most of them, and although I believe each has its own unique theme that appeals to everyone of us, there is only a few that I very very much like.

Therefore, in no particular order...

1. The Last Continent, RM 20

By the way, "this book is not about Australia" is the starting sentence of the prologue. Tells you much about the book, eh?

2. Carpe Jugulum, RM 20

This book, meanwhile, is about a country, a group of beings (err... Loosely translated, of course) and the stories behind it. By "beings", I mean the dwarfs (yes, that is the word, not "dwarves" in here) and the vampires, and the humans as "kay lay fay".

3. Soul Music, RM20

This book, meanwhile, is about Death. And if I am not mistaken, the introduction of his granddaughter, Susan Sto Helit. (Opps, my bad. It's MISS Susan Sto Helit.)

4. The Fifth Elephant, RM 20

This is by far, in this page, my favourite story. It is about Commander Sam Vimes, Captain Carrot and Lord Vetinari *squeals*. Yes, my previous sentence tells you much about my ownself. And I do admit, I prefer to have a story of Lord Vetinari in one whole book. But, I digress. This is the "Sam" story. Get it?

5. Interesting Times, RM23

"May you live in interesting times", that is the beginning. But with Rincewind, you can get a lot of things going on in one book. And I mean, A LOT.
